InterACT Church and Community Partnership
allView all projects

InterACT is formed from a partnership of churches in Meanwood and Chapel Allerton. Our name also reflects our aim to be fully partnered with others living and working in the area.

We want our local area to be a community where God's love is shared, where all are valued and connected by strong relationships, and where everyone can achieve their potential and live life to the full.

We create opportunities for people in and around the area to come together, through a wide variety of activities such as our food pantry, men shed and community café. As we get to know one another better, we become more able to overcome prejudices and work together for the good of the whole community. We also seek to help individuals develop skills, confidence and wholeness, all of which strengthens our community and makes life better. For example, we support volunteering, provide support and advice to those in need, and encourage people to try new things.
