UK SHARED PROSPERITY FUND: GRANTS AVAILABLE

Unity in Poverty Action, part of Leeds Christian Community Trust (LCCT) and chair of the Leeds Food Aid Network (FAN), has been allocated funds from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund for distribution to organisations across Leeds who are tackling poverty by providing items or food aid to those in need.

The UK Shared Prosperity Fund is a central pillar of the UK government’s Levelling Up agenda and provides £2.6 billion of funding for local investment by March 2025. The Fund aims to improve pride in place and increase life chances across the UK investing in communities and place, supporting local business, and people and skills. UPA aims to make 10 grants of £5,000-£20,000 for kitchen/warehouse refurbishment, transportation costs or new equipment, and 35 grants of up to £5000 to purchase tools or equipment to support existing work.

To apply for a grant please complete the Application Form and return to catherine@lcct.org.uk by 12pm on 16th July 2024.
