Since our humble beginnings, Mary's Meals has been built on a foundation of prayer and many little acts of love from those who believe in our mission.

During the month of May, we invite individuals, churches and schools to join with us in prayer to celebrate the wonderful work of Mary’s Meals and to ask for God’s continued blessing on our mission. We are also praying in thanksgiving for the amazing support we receive from people all across the globe, including many of you here in the Leeds area.

We have created a range of resources – including special prayers and stories about the children who eat Mary’s Meals – to help you take part in Pray In May

We also have a special message from our founder, Magnus MacFarlane-Barrow, about the importance of prayer today and in the history of our mission.

Please pray with us that our work continues to flourish and that children throughout this world will see their lives transformed through the promise of a daily school meal.

And remember, our dedicated volunteers would love to come to your church or group to talk about our work. To organise a visit, please contact us on or 0800 698 1212.  We are also keen to hear from anyone who would like to help us through volunteering as a Community Volunteer or as a Faith representative - helping us share the Mary's Meals mission within your own local area or church/faith community.

God bless you all,

Fran Lawson (Supporter Engagement Officer, Mary's Meals UK)
