Anya, a Leeds volunteer, received an award at Leeds University's 'Celebrating Student Volunteering' event which was held recently. Anya has helped Atif, one of our residents, improve his English but also identified he was a keen artist. We put out an appeal to our supporters and received a lot of materials that Atif has put to good use! Thanks to Anya and all our volunteers for the contribution they make to Abigail Housing and the support they give to the refugees living with us in Leeds.
