Leeds Faith In School Appoints New Team Leader

Ben's connection to Leeds Faith In Schools goes back a long way having benefitted from the support and encouragement of LFIS workers during his own time in high school leading him to do his work experience with the team at the tender age of 14. Since then Ben has gone on to serve the city through the work of the Leeds Youth Cell Network before joining the LFIS team as the East Leeds Lead in 2017.
"Over 25 years ago Leeds Faith In Schools began on a shoestring with the hope and intent of bringing Good News to the high schools of Leeds. Now many years later the need for hope, belonging, compassion and the gospel is greater than ever in the schools of Leeds. Leeds Faith In Schools has a crucial role to play with and alongside the church in reaching the cities young people with that Good News. I'm so excited to have the privilege to build on, alongside our amazing team, the relationships and opportunities that enable us to be that consistent Christian presence in the lives of young people."
