In2Out, a charity mentoring young people (15–21-year-old) leaving custody, is looking to appoint a Mentor Coordinator to support young people resettling in the region following a time in custody. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to join a highly motivated team, working directly with young people who need extra support through resettlement mentoring, as they prepare to leave custody (typically HMYOI Wetherby) and then upon their return to communities in the region.

In this role you will work across the region with young people both pre and post release to improve their ability to successfully manage their lives back in the community, providing mentoring and practical support and encouragement. You will also help build a network of contacts, volunteers and Partner Organisations to better enable successful resettlement for programme Participants.

You will liaise with other agencies and professionals involved with a young person's welfare to support successful resettlement. The successful candidate will be passionate about working with vulnerable young people, be a team player, and be a trusted advocate, motivator and encourager whilst maintaining the highest standards of professional boundaries and quality in all their interactions.

Ability to travel using own transport around the region, to HMYOI Wetherby and other custodial establishments, is essential.

In2Out is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all sections of the community. A DBS check will be required for this role.
