Leeds City Mission is a multi church christian agency has been in existence since 1837. Its focus is on gospel outreach & mercy ministries to marginalised people and supporting churches around the city in their life and witness.
LCM is organising a ‘Summer Praise Open Afternoon’ on Saturday 29 June. Guest speaker – Carl Knightly from London. Carl is the Chairman of CMM UK (City Missions Movement UK) which links together the 19 City Missions who are at the forefront of urban outreach & evangelism to those at the margins of society. Come and hear how God is using City Missions throughout the land.
This is a free event for anyone to attend
Programme
The programme will take place on the adjoining lawn
12.30—1.30 pm Arrive and enjoy a free light lunch—hotdogs, sandwiches, cake
1.30 pm—2.30 pm LCM Mission Update & also inspiring message
2.30 pm—4.00 pm Free ice creams, soft drinks, tea & other refreshments
This relaxed afternoon will provide the opportunity to meet others from a wide range of churches and give an insight into City Mission work Leeds. Come when you can and go when you must.
Location: Leeds City Mission is diagonally opposite Armley Library and is the last public building in the shopping area. Westerly Rise (12 storey block of flats) is adjacent to the City Mission Hub
