Loving God and neighbour ... in business?
calendarView calendarallView all events

Christians in business often feel unsupported at church and isolated at work. Work in business is part of God’s purpose for the world he created, loves and is restoring; yet business, like all of life, has been corrupted, so there are tough challenges.

Our third Faith in Business conference for the North of England asks what the commands of Jesus - to love God and neighbour - mean in competitive business.

John Kirkby will be one of the 4 speakers. He is the founder of Christians Against Poverty and a reformed business owner.

After hearing the talks, there will be time to question, reflect, and discuss. There will also be opportunities to browse stalls and to network over a good lunch and refreshments.

Tickets cost £50 per person and are available to book online at the event website.

A free ticket will be available for any group bookings of 10 or more, as a means of encouraging towns and cities in the North of England, to come along to this together. For further information please contact karenwilliamsleeds@gmail.com

Bradford Cathedral is easily accessible by public transport or by car.

This event is being organised by Thinking Faith Network and endorsed by Bradford Cathedral and by Gather Leeds
