Please join us on Thursday 13th February 6-8pm at Leeds Playhouse for an event to re-launch the Lift the Ban campaign for the right to work for people seeking asylum! 

Right now, the vast majority of people seeking asylum are banned from working and forced to live on asylum support, often for many years. This has devastating impacts on mental health and wellbeing, and holds people back from supporting themselves and achieving their dreams. People who seek asylum in the UK have many skills and talents to share and should have the right to use them. 

Please come and join us at this event to learn more from people affected by the ban and to show your support for the right to work. 

The event will include speeches, music, poetry and food from around the world. 

All are welcome, travel costs can be reimbursed for anyone who needs it.
