The Hunslet Initiative aims to provide positive activities for children, teens and young adults in Hunslet and Belle Isle. We believe in the potential of this community and are committed to delivering outstanding activities, nurturing relationships and empowering individuals to do their best. We run after school clubs, small group work, sports, mentoring and regular trips.

Everything we do is underpinned by our Christian faith and is a response to Jesus’ invitation to live life in all its fullness (John 10:10). We endeavour to be an expression of the local church; meeting people where they are and showing respect and compassion.

We are thankful for God’s provision – for the right people, finances, support and opportunities. We are looking to grow our work, in particular activities that show, share and explore faith with children, teens and young adults.
