At Leeds Trinity University College in Horsforth there is a three-person chaplaincy team that serves 3,000 students. Chaplaincy provision includes worship, social events, retreats, pastoral care, instruction about the Catholic fatih, and a Christian volunteering group. The Chaplaincy liaises with the Christian Union which meets each week in the Chaplaincy Lounge. At the Catholic Chaplaincy to the Universities of Leeds and Leeds Metropolitan there is a centre just off campus with a common room, library and chapel. This is open to students who wish to socialise and develop their understanding of the Catholic faith. There are daily events in term-time, with a large and active Catholic Society who organise social and spiritual events (cathsoc@gmail.com).
