Burmantofts Community Projects (BCP) was set up in 1995 by volunteers from the local Church (St Agnes). An AdviceUK member, it was set up to benefit the community in the advancement of education, the protection and preservation of good health and the relief of poverty, sickness and distress. BCP has a number of projects within its umbrella which are Ebor Gardens Advice Centre (EGAC), Leeds Money Buddies, the Money Buddy Network and Benefit Buddies.
