Celebrating volunteers from diverse backgrounds the exhibition opened at Leeds City Museum on Monday 23 September.  Organised by Voluntary Action Leeds (VAL), the Volunteers of Leeds exhibition features individual oil paintings of eight volunteers who give their time to charities and community organisations across the city.  These were created by Leeds-based voluntary artists Polly Chilcott and Farhad Abdulla.

The exhibition is the next phase of this volunteer-led project.  It follows a successful ‘pop up’ event held at the museum on 5 June 2024.

Thank you to Leeds City Museum for hosting the artworks.  The exhibition is currently running until 8 December 2024.
