Weekly Devotional - The time of God’s Favour is Now

My friends, there are many definitions of favor but favor in this context is an act of kindness beyond what is due or usual.  The operative word here is “beyond what is due or usual” and this is the type of favor God promises us in His word in Psalm 84:11 saying “For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favour and honour; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless”.

Do you need favour for your business, marriage, children, career, health, finances and so on? If your answer is yes like mine, your time of favour is now as you:

  • Look up to God – He is the only one that can give you the favour that you don’t deserve. He also does not give grudgingly as we humans do.
  • Meditate on His Word – Everything you need to do in life can be found in the word of God.  Identify any area of life you need God’s favour today, locate the appropriate scripture for that situation, believe God is able to give you the favour you need and apply the word of God in faith.

Christ follower, as you tap into God’s favour, He will establish the work of your hands. If you are currently not a Christ follower, the greatest favour you can receive today is your salvation given through faith and undeserved but a gift from God.  Receive it today.

All glory to God!
