Superman’s Son Backs Fundraising Campaign in Leeds

Matthew Reeve, the eldest son of Superman actor Christopher Reeve has backed a UK-wide campaign raising awareness and funding to support a new era of breakthrough research into spinal cord injuries.

Spinal Research, the UK’s leading charity funding research around the world to develop effective treatments for spinal cord injuries, this month launched its ‘Possibilities’ campaign supported by the JCDecaux Community Channel. This campaign is coming to Leeds and will be on displayed across the city.

The emotive Out-of-Home campaign transforms words like impossible, irreversible, and hopeless – using striking spray paint to cross out the first letters - to reveal possible, reversible, and hope.

Spinal Research works closely with the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation set up by the Superman actor who was paralysed in a horse-riding accident in 1995.
