The Revd Richard Andrew, President of the Methodist Conference, made a visit to the Great Yorkshire Show and had discussions with William Maughan, National Farmers Union, on issues facing farming communities including the impact of Brexit, climate change and inheritance tax.

Mr Andrew met with the Right Revd Smitha Prasadam, Bishop of Huddersfield, the Right Revd Anna Eltringham, Bishop of Ripon and Canon Leslie Morley, Chaplain to the show. He visited the Yorkshire Churches stand with Methodist Ministers Revd Ann Lett, Bridge Circuit and Revd Andrew Marchington, Huddersfield Circuit, both working on the stand for the week with their displays focused on the 'I Am' sayings of Jesus.
