City Wide Zoom Gathering - Thursday 23rd April, 6.15 - 7.30 pm.
Gather Leeds will be leading an interactive Zoom video conference aimed at enabling Christians from Leeds to be able to interact with each other and to get some key updates on how Christians are doing in the NHS, Business, Arts and Media, and getting the general picture around Poverty. We will also be feeding back on the activities of a couple of different Churches. Time will be made to pray for the situation. regarding what Christians are doing to meet needs in this challenging time.
Here are some key updates on Prayer
Regular Zoom Prayer Gatherings are now happening twice a week in the evening. They will take place on a Monday and Thursday at 9 pm. The link is here: Just click this and it should let you through: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/561718643.

There is a midday prayer time every weekday. Skype call - 12:00, Please use this link.
There are now 3 ways you can request prayer for people experiencing direct Coronavirus Symptoms or someone who is been indirectly effected e.g. Financially.
1) Prayer intercessors - Email through and a group of intercessors will pray for you without you needing to be there. – firstname.lastname@example.org. This will be done fairly anonymously.
2) If you want to receive prayer and are willing to be prayed for down the phone please email through to email@example.com
3) If you want to engage in specific prayer for yourself or others regarding finding healing against the Coronavirus then please contact Christians Against Coronavirus via Facebook https://www.facebook.com/christiansagainstcoronavirus. The aim is to have spirit-filled prayer for healing over Zoom. A Leeds group has just been set up.

Prayer for Health and NHS workers will take place every Wednesday at 9 am led by the Christian Medical Fellowship in West Yorkshire. Please communicate with NHS and health Workers.

Anna Hall, who is a committed Christian and is highly involved in the media industry. She produced a very good documentary called A Day in the Life of Coronavirus Britain. There is now a general Covid19 Helpline. Please call 0113 3781877.
Homelessness - 116 people were accommodated within a week and accommodation included 4 hotels and other private landlord provision. Everyone receives 3 meals a day and a number of Street Groups and charities are now providing snack bags in an evening.
