Hi everyone, 

I'm Emma and I'm the new Operations Manager at Leeds Christian Community Trust - the organisation behind Network Leeds. 

I'm really excited to join the team here and thought I'd share a couple of reflections from my first few weeks here. I've spent my career doing a lot of different things, mostly in the charity sector or running my own business. Oh, and wrangling my three small children! 

LCCT's mission is to Serve, Resource, Connect and Pray and it is a joy to join in this mission. I've already been blown away by the tireless work going on through LCCT's member projects to do all these things and ultimately see positive change in Leeds. There's a lot going on in the world that doesn't feel positive at the moment but my main takeaway from starting this role is that there's so many amazing people doing really important and vital work to serve their local communities. I've been overcome by a sense of hope through hearing and seeing all the different ways people in our city are working together to make this a positive place for all. 

I'm keen to connect with lots of different people to see how LCCT can continue to serve, resource connect and pray for all thats going on in Leeds, so if you have an idea, thought or question, please do get in touch with me at operations@lcct.org.uk
