Reverend Phil Arnold of Christ Church, Armley, led a small group on a 62-mile walk across Leeds.

The initiative is part of a match-funded Give to Green project helping churches to reduce their carbon footprint, and Christ Church successfully reached the goal of £20,000 to repair the roof.

The walk began on Friday 4th October with a walk from Golden Acre Park to Garforth. The Saturday leg went from Garforth to Scotchman Lane. On Sunday the traditional Harvest service took place in the morning and the walk continued in the afternoon, finishing at Golden Acre Park.
