It has been a 'right royal' season here at Kidz Klub following our recent recognition with the King's Award for Voluntary Service.

This past month has been filled with special moments at a national and local level as we have celebrated alongside the volunteers, children and friends like you.

We were honoured that Steve Reilly (Chair of Trustees) and Asha Roberts (a dedicated volunteer of over 10 years) represented the entire Kidz Klub family at the Buckingham Palace Garden Party.

Their visit was a wonderful acknowledgement of the commitment, love, and service shown by every team member - not just present but also over the years. It was a proud moment to see our community thanked in this special way.

We were also privileged to host The Lord-Lieutenant of West Yorkshire, Deeba Malik, who visited Central Kidz Klub to formally present the award on behalf of His Majesty The King.

It was a lovely do.

- She personally shook hands and greeted every single child (over 360 in total!)

- She spoke warmly about how important every child is

- She shared that the King had sent her to thank our volunteers for their tireless dedication

- She encouraged our children to grow into future leaders

- And she even promised to have a little chat with the King and Queen about the children and Kidz Klub Leeds!

It was a special moment for the children, who were made to feel truly seen, valued, and inspired and for our wonderful team.
