26 years ago today, a bunch of amazing pioneering people and a partnership of 4 churches officially launched Kidz Klub Leeds.

They had no idea what would happen. But they shared a determination to follow the never stopping, never giving up, never running out love of God for our inner city children - and to work together to find a way of reaching them. Unity has been at the heartbeat of Kidz Klub from day one

26 years later and there is so much to be thankful for:

• 28,000 children have been reached.

• The team have carried out 707,000 home visits. 

• We are working alongside 1000+ children and their families, across 17 communities, each week.

• Our partnership has grown to 22 churches.

• We have seen a growing network of faithful friends, prayer supporters and volunteers -amazing people who give so much to the children.

• Alongside this are the businesses and third sector groups who we work with to support the children week in week out.

After 26 years we are as passionate as ever about following the never running out, never giving up love of God for our inner city children. As we do that together, God is at work in children's lives and through the weekly interactions.

So together we press on for:

• Every child this term who knows that they 'belong', they are 'beloved and delightful'.

• For the parent this week who was able to feel comfortable enough to call the police with the support of our Family Support Worker.  

• For the lady who got baptised at a partner church and shared 'I came to Kidz Klub as a child'.

They are His treasure and so we will continue to be there....determined to press on with this vision we share.
