International Day of Disabled People (IDODP) 2026 - Small Grants Now Open
Grants totals of up to £2,400 will be available to support activities in Leeds that celebrate and recognise International Day of Disabled People.
We expect to award either six grants of up to £400 each, four grants of up to £600 each, or a mix of both. The maximum grant available is £600 per organisation.
We want to support activities that provide opportunities for disabled people to come together, participate and have their voices heard.
Funded activities can take place between 1 December 2026 and 31 January 2027, excluding Thursday 3 December, when the Leeds for All International Day of Disabled People celebration event will take place.
Applications are open now and close at 5pm on Friday 25 September 2026.

Applications will be reviewed after the deadline, with applicants notified of the outcome by Friday 16 October 2026
International Day of Disabled People in Leeds
The Small Grants Scheme forms part of ‘Leeds for All’ activities to mark International Day of Disabled People.
This year’s Hear Our Voices! celebration will take place on Thursday 3 December, 11am–3pm at Scope Community Hub, Brewery Wharf, Leeds.

The free drop-in event will bring disabled people, communities and organisations together, with a mini marketplace, speakers, seated activities and opportunities to meet and connect.
