In this episode of the Leeds Sanctuary podcast, our Wellbeing Practitioner, Sam Havis, learns about the work of local charity, The Jordan Legacy.

The Jordan Legacy's mission is to move towards a society that is willing and able to do all it can to prevent suicide, through collaboration, education and awareness raising. Their bold vision of a zero suicide society relies on everyone to do their part to care for each other and for themselves, and this kind conversation explores the roles of communities and individuals in doing just that. Listen to this episode to find out what we can do as communities, and for ourselves, to better support mental health and prevent suicide. You can find the conversation here: Stream Flourishing - The Jordan Legacy and Suicide Prevention by Leeds Sanctuary | Listen online for free on SoundCloud

If you find the subject of suicide triggering, please do look after yourself. If you'd appreciate an opportunity to explore complicated emotions during the Christmas season, why not sign up for a Blue Christmas workshop on Tuesday 17 December at 6pm, online: Blue Christmas Resources – leedssanctuary.org.uk
