Through the darkest valley

Words of hope for days of weariness and struggle.

‘Abba, give me a word,’ was the request of those who visited the desert monasteries of the early church. Many of these sayings have found their way to us today. Essentially, they were very brief words of wisdom to challenge and encourage Christians. Always brief, but with the capacity to direct and expand the lived experience of faith. Address will be given by the Revd Canon Professor Myra Shackley and the Very Revd Jerry Lepine, Dean of Bradford
