The £24,000 pocket park will be maintained by volunteers from the Pudsey in Bloom group.

The scheme has the approval of all three Pudsey councillors.

Cllr Simon Seary (Cons, Pudsey)  said: “It’s fantastic news. It will tidy up an unloved area that has been left for a long time and will be a useful stop for people walking from Chapeltown to the town centre.”
