The Leeds Global Day of Prayer was again a moving and vibrant time of intercultural prayer and vocal worship. 160 people participated in praying for different nationalities and people groups who are based both here in Leeds and around the world. New Testament Church of God were great hosts. People were able to pray in small groups and also whilst being led from the front.

During the evening, we prayed for key nations and international regions such as Uganda and the Middle East. There was a moving time of prayer, led by Rev Paul Maybury, for Israel and the Palestinian people. Halfway through the gathering we broke off into prayer stations and prayed for a number of different nations including India, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, China and Ukraine. We also had a moving time of song led by the Romanian community.

Thank you to everyone who came and we look forward to gathering next year at Bridge Community Church on Pentecost Sunday 8th June.
