Leeds Church Institute, in partnership with Citizens UK, aims to help Christians put their faith into action through community organising. Citizens UK has put together a resource to help you encourage your church community to register to vote.

The resource includes advice for holding an ‘Election Sunday’ and becoming a Voter Registration Champion, to make sure everyone in your community has the opportunity to use their vote and their voice on 4th July.

Citizens are also hosting a Community of Practice learning day for churches on 11th July. As this event will now take place after polling day, the new theme will be ‘Weaving Trust in the Wake of the General Election’ and will explore their recent report on ‘Organising Together Across Difference’.
