GodVenture offers easy ways to share the Easter story with families, without losing its true meaning and life-giving power. The range of resources includes:

The Easter Kindness challenge from charity 52 Lives is a great way to encourage children to think about helping other people and, in the process, help themselves by boosting their wellbeing. Prizes are available!

From the Scottish Bible Society, Wonder Walks are eight free-to-download “maps” take you through the life of Jesus, his death and resurrection, as told in Mark’s gospel.

From SU Ireland and SU Scotland, NUA:Easter is a free three-part video series that provides a fresh perspective on Easter and why it matters for us today. Aimed at 9-14yrs and also ideal for the family to complete together.

This is a lovely idea from Building Faith in America - working with our young people to compile a care package for church leaders during the very busy time of Holy Week. Even if this feels a little beyond your group, perhaps sending a card or cards, or praying for our church leaders during one of their busiest weeks of the year, might be a lovely thing to do.

Also from Building Faith, a number of arts and crafts ideas:

From Flame Creative Children's Ministry, a multi-sensory Easter story.

And finally, for the very little ones, Teddy's Easter Surprise, a Care for the Family playtime resource.
