Will you help local families like Sofia’s this Christmas?

Our Kidz Klub home visitors have been building a relationship with Sofia* and her girls. The family is living in a local hostel that has become their temporary home.

But thanks to the help of generous supporters like you, our Kidz Klub home visitors have been able to be there for Sophia and her girls when they have really needed someone in their corner.

“Thank you so much for the love and kindness you have shown us as a family.” – said Sofia to one of our Kidz Klub volunteers recently. “I am a single Mum raising two girls. I am grateful for having Kidz Klub on our side."

"Thank you especially for the Kidz Klub ladies who have been coming to our place. For talking to us, for taking my girls out and for sharing Scriptures with my girls. Recently you made Emma my youngest feel special on her birthday – thank you!”

Helping Sofia, and others like her, would not be possible without your unwavering support.

That’s why, as part of our Christmas appeal, I invite you to join Kidz Klub Leeds to help more local families like Sofia’s by giving £20, £50 or even £100.

Only with your help we can continue to impact the lives of mothers like Sofia and over 1,000 local children through weekly home visits, family support, Schools Work, a Central Klub with 7 double-decker buses, local Hub Klubs, playstreets, developing young leaders and residential events.

The life expectancy of children growing up in the communities we serve is up to eight years lower than those growing up just up the road in nearby communities.

 

This is not ok and with your help we can change this in 2024 and beyond.

 

Your gift today can provide more practical help, mentoring sessions, Kidz Klub sessions, and wellbeing activities for children and young people.

And the wonderful thing is that any gift you can give will be matched pound per pound up to £7,500 by some loyal supporters.

 

We have just increased our target thanks to one of our supporting churches who has added £3,000 to our Christmas appeal matching fund - giving us a chance to raise more money to support the children. Any donation you give will be doubled

 

So please continue to give if you can so we can reach the new goal of £7,500. Your gift will be matched pound per pound until 31st December.

This means that:

· A gift of £20 will become £40

· A gift of £50 will become £100

· And a gift of £100 will turn to £200

Any amount you can give between now and 31st December 2023 will be matched, doubling the impact of your generosity towards local families in need.
