Christian Against Poverty (CAP) invite you to submit a photo for it’s 2025 supporter calendar! Whether you're a professional photographer or just have a knack for capturing a great shot, here’s how you can get involved.

CAP’s work is rooted in local communities, delivered by local churches, for local people. The 2025 calendar is all about celebrating this: the variety of wonderful, vibrant, unique places across the UK. Submissions are especially welcomed from photographers in Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland.

To be in with a chance to have your photograph featured, follow the steps below and submit your picture by Wednesday 16 October 2024.

Step 1: What to capture

Capture a photograph of something that inspires you about your local area. Or perhaps you’ve already taken one that you’d love to submit. This is a wide-open canvas for your creativity.

Step 2: Get inspired

To help you get started, here are some ideas to spark your imagination:

  • An iconic landmark: Highlight a landmark that defines your local area and holds special meaning for you personally and/or your community.
  • A beautiful landscape: Whether it's a serene countryside, peaceful woodland, or a picturesque beach, show us the natural beauty that’s on your doorstep.
  • A place where you feel connected to God: This might be your church or somewhere else in your local community.

Step 3: Send in your photograph

Please send a high-resolution, landscape-oriented photograph to supportercalendar@capuk.org.

Make sure you include your full name and the location of the photograph. You will be contacted by email if your photograph has been chosen to feature.*
