Call for volunteers to help erect the Chevin Cross in Otley

The 30-foot Chevin Cross is an annual Easter landmark raised by volunteers at Surprise View on Otley Chevin since 1969. Organised by Churches Together in Otley, the cross is installed two weeks before Easter and removed two weeks after.

A spokesperson said: "Approximately 50 people are needed, with 12 being able to help with loading at Sinclair’s Warehouse, Bremner Street at 9am. Please note that it is important to read the Health & Safety risk assessment and guidance beforehand. This is available here
