At Kidz Klub, we’ve seen God's love change lives for generations. Today, I want to share a powerful story with you—one that began years ago and continues today, thanks to the generosity of friends like you.
And, the best part? You can make more wonderful stories like this happen by making a special Christmas gift today!
The even better part is that your gift of any size will be matched pound per pound by one of our wonderful partners, The Liz and Terry Bramall Foundation, who love Kidz Klub as much as you do. So much so, that they have made a matched funding pledge of £10,000 for this appeal. They will match every single £1 you donate with another £1 until 31st December 24.
Every pound you give right now will be matched, doubling the impact of your generosity!
Recently, during one of our Kidz Klub sessions, Anna* sat at the back, kicking her chair. She was restless, struggling to engage, like so many children facing difficult home lives. But as our volunteers spent more time with her, something changed. She started listening more intently and kept coming back to our activities week after week. One day, Anna* said to one of our volunteer leaders:
“You know, I used to have nightmares before I came here, but one of the ladies on the Kidz Klub bus prayed for me, and now they’ve stopped.”
These words touched our hearts, but the story goes even deeper. Years ago, her father attended similar children's work in the area. Back then, the team would visit his home, just like they visit hers today. Now, he’s signed his own daughter up for Kidz Klub as well.
“I’m so grateful,” her father told us. “Kidz Klub was there for me as a child, and now it’s here for my daughter. I couldn’t ask for more.”
Will you join forces with Kidz Klub Leeds to make more stories like this happen?
This winter, as the days grow colder and darker, your gift of £25 or more can bring warmth and joy to another child like Anna*. A child who might feel sad or isolated because of their family circumstances and struggling with poverty. It is a particularly challenging time for many children. But together, we can show them that they are not forgotten.
Will you give and double the impact of your generosity this Christmas?
