The prayer station reads:
“At. Aidan, to whom this chapel is dedicated, walked gently on the earth and brought Christ’s peace wherever he went. In this spirit, and in line with Bradford Cathedral’s vision, we offer this space to pray for our planet.

“The carved hands before you represent God’s care for creation, and our shared responsibility to hold the Earth gently.”

You are invited to write a prayer, lament, or promise of action on a leaf of hope. You can place it in the hands, entrusting it to God, and then you can be still, and pray for the healing of the Earth.

“The Earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it.” [Psalm 24:1]
