The Projects Manager will work with the Archbishop’s Mission Enabler for the North to deliver the Northern Enabling Strategy, as part of Faith in the North.

This strategy has recently received £3.4 million of funding to create the conditions for an additional 600 new worshipping communities. It will involve working with leaders across the region, developing a new resource church leader training programme and offering grants both for local new worshipping communities and for northern churches with the potential to revitalise other parishes.

• Hybrid work, with at least 1 day a week at Bishopthorpe Palace, York
• Fixed term contract initially for 2 years plus in principle funding until Dec 2029
• Salary: £56,833 plus pension contributions
