Horsforth Shed is a flourishing community workshop that emerged from the transformation of a semi-derelict and unused former Scout Building. The vision is to use the workshop to reduce social isolation. It goes well beyond the traditional Man Shed model by also engaging with school children who are not in mainstream education.

We are now in an exciting stage of our development and are seeking to employ a full-time Shed Manager to:

1. develop the vision and outreach of the Shed
2. confidently lead our team of staff and volunteers
3. ensure consistent delivery of sessions
4. expand our volunteer team

Purpose of job: To confidently lead, positively promote and develop the vision of the Horsforth Shed on behalf of the trustees. Leading woodworking sessions, ensuring that safe working practices are adhered to at all times and a safe environment is maintained.
