Salary: £24202-£28119 (pro rata)

Start Date: 20/01/24 / Onwards (TBC)

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Engagement -

  • Design, co-ordinate and delivery of The Immanuel Projects Guest Engagement Programme; reviewing regularly to make sure it is fit for purpose.

  • Promote the sessions to help make sure there is a good level of engagement and attendance by guests (eg. producing publicity for guest interactions and external partners).

  • Create any resources needed for the seasons.  

  • Co-ordinate the front of house making sure the environment is welcoming and safe for guests, colleagues, volunteers and visitors. 

  • Build relationships with local services such as hairdressers, housing support, NHS services to support The Immanuel Projects Guest Engagement offer. 

  • Develop a rhythm of prayer at the project (including seasonal services) 

  • Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of the programme, including attendance and collating guest feedback for funders and trustees.

  • Work with the Operations Manager to plan what people resource is needed to run the sessions. 

  • Coordinate Christmas gift offers for guests. 

Volunteer Co-Ordination -

  • Ensure volunteer profiles are up to date and advertised effectively 

  • Safely recruit new volunteers - 

    • Ensure new volunteers receive induction and training as appropriate.

    • Ensure volunteers are kept up to date with changes and development at the project through newsletters, catch up chats and biannual volunteer meetings.

    • Ensure volunteer contribution is valued and celebrated.

    • Offer opportunities for volunteers to offer existing skills and develop new ones.

    • Facilitate corporate volunteering days.

    • Build positive relationships with local organisations that promote volunteering.

    • Ensure all paperwork is up to date. 

    • Collate data around volunteering for Ops Manager and trustees.

Other Duties -

  • Deputise for manager when they are off site or on leave.

  • Keep social media pages up to date.

  • Assist with funding applications.

  • Attend occasional meetings with trustees and external partners as necessary.

  • Is comfortable delivering Christian faith-based activities and services
