On Thursday 18th September, 5:30 - 7:30pm at the St George's Centre there will be a training evening for paid workers and volunteers who are involved in food aid provision in Leeds. Other charities and groups are also invited.

The event will help workers and volunteers to more effectively signposting to different services eg. money advice services, mobilise usage of Healthy Start Vouchers, deal with situations where people are being pursued by or forced to turn to loan sharks and build food resilience using the Food Resilience Toolkit.

Main presentations will be delivered by Emma Strachen and colleagues from Public Health, Trish Cassidy from the Illegal Money Lending Team and Dave Paterson from Leeds Food Aid Network (FAN) and Leeds Homeless Charter.

Please see the flyer below and send an email info@leedsfoodaidnetwork.co.uk if you intend to attend.
