The Changing Landscape in the West Bank - an update from Umm al-Khair

Hebron International Resource Network’s (HIRN) Director, Mohammed Tamimi, will speak about the crisis in the West Bank and how HIRN supports Palestinian communities. This in-person event will provide you with the latest information and updates on the situation in the region.

Umm al-Khair in the South Hebron Hills, West Bank, is the village of Awdah Hathaleen, a Palestinian activist and consultant on the Oscar winning 2024 documentary No Other Land. On July 28, 2025 Awdah was shot and killed by an Israeli settler from the adjacent settlement, Carmel.

Over many years, HIRN has supported Umm al-Khair and other villages with vital humanitarian aid.
