calendarView calendarallView all events

Mitzvah Day is the Jewish-led day of social action, taking place on Sunday 21st November.

This year, with the support of the Diocese of Leeds and the Leeds Jewish Representative Council, faiths in Bradford and Leeds are coming together to support vulnerable women and children in the women’s refuges in the two cities. In the run-up to Mitzvah Day, a range of items, ranging from non- perishable food items to personal hygiene items, stationery and play equipment and electrical items, will be collected by a range of faith establishments and then packed on Mitzvah Day at the BEAP Community Centre in Bradford.
