Leeds Trustee Network Meeting
View calendarView all events
Wednesday, 26th June: 6:00pm - 8:00pm
If you are a trustee or management committee member, responsible for a small charity, voluntary, community or faith organisation based in Leeds, then come and join us.
Alex Peel, who has vast experience of working with governing bodies of charitable organisations and community groups will lead the meeting. You will get the opportunity in a safe confidential environment to chat with other trustees, sharing your experience, asking all those questions that you aren’t sure about the answers to. You may want to share what works well for you as a trustee, what you could do differently, what issues there are for you and where you could get support.
The meeting will particularly be open to emerging new organisations, small organisations and/or culturally diverse organisations as well as trustees/MC members new to the role.
At the meeting we will also be looking at how you might learn from others by visiting other trustee meetings or share your own good practice by hosting a visit. There will be an opportunity to access a small pot of funding to facilitate this from Power of Communities which is funding the network meetings.
This meeting will be held on Zoom and we will expect you to join in the session so will ask you to keep your camera on if possible.
