The How to Get Creative workshop is an opportunity to take some time to create in a relaxed space where people who work or want to work in the community can experiment with artistic materials and share ways we can all connect through creativity.
It's a very open session where people can gain confidence with art-making skills. The only real structure is time allocated to experimenting with different techniques and what you produce is totally up to you!
This session will be delivered by Penny Rowe is an artist and director of Penny’s Community Arts (CIC), since 2014 she has been sharing art around Leeds and working with schools, nursing homes, community groups and voluntary organisations. Penny is a multi-disciplinary artist who use disciplines such as digital photography, wood carving, fine art and ceramics to facilitate engagement with the wider community.
