Gaia: Climate Craftivism
View calendarView all events
Wednesday, 16th November: 7:00pm - 9:00pm
Under the beautiful "Gaia", Leeds Craftivists will explore the relationship between the environment and the Cost of Living Crisis we are all living through.
We will introduce the group to what Craftivism is and also invite everyone to take part in the creative action for our Cost of Living campaign. We will provide all the materials needed so you will not need to bring anything.
Expect creativity, conversation and learning all under the beautiful "Gaia".
'Gaia' is made of precise imagery from NASA’s visible earth series and will be a stimulating snapshot of viewing earth from space, taking on board the spatial architecture of Holy Trinity Church Leeds. A truly unique experience with a vision of hope and unity.
In all we do as the Leeds Craftivist we look to create a space that is positive for you; we take seriously the impact these difficult and frightening topics could have on your mental health. There will be space for sharing and a Mental Health first aider will be present.
