The next Leeds Funding Support Network Meeting will be held via zoom on Tuesday 9th January at 1.00pm - 2.15pm

If you are involved in fundraising for your charity, community group or other not-for-profit organisation in Leeds, as a management committee member, volunteer or paid worker, then join us to learn more about funding and fundraising and share your group’s funding needs.

The network is particularly aimed at small groups new to fundraising or for group members/workers new to fundraising and/or who want to develop their fundraising knowledge and skills as well as more experienced fundraisers who will generously share their experiences.

At this meeting we will be discussing typical "Barriers to accessing funding and how these can be overcome" and we will hear from:

  • Phoenix Way Yorkshire and Humber: meet Helina Bassey, Programme Manager for a collaborative partnership responding to the structural inequalities which Black and racially minoritised communities and community-led organisations face in relation to influencing and accessing grant funding, and find out about support and funding available.
  • Business for Good - meet Rachel Pickard, delivering a new support programme for social enterprises, co-operatives and community businesses across Leeds

We will be meeting via Zoom, please e-mail kaye.wilson@val.org.uk for the link.
