Church member Brian Herring has a rich collection of first day cover stamps going back many years and it includes the stamp issued to commemorate England’s victory in 1966. Commemorative stamps are full of interest both artistically and in terms of the events they celebrate. They form part of a wide ranging collection of stamps provided by members of Leeds Philatelic Society.

The Festival takes place at Ben Rhydding Methodist Church from Tuesday, December 6 to Friday, December 9 from 2pm to 4pm and Saturday, December 10 10am to noon and 2pm to 4pm. Admission is free, refreshments will available and all are welcome.
