The installation of Kerry Tankard as Ecumenical Canon by Bishop Nick.

Revd. Kerry Tankard BA (Hons), MA, has been a minister in the Methodist Church for 21 years and currently serves as the Chair of the Yorkshire West Methodist District. Prior to his current role, he served in appointments in Greater Manchester, Peterborough and the High Peak.

The Yorkshire West District is home to around 220 Methodist Chapels spread from Denby Dale and Penistone in the South to Skipton and Settle in the North. Kerry is also a member of the Faith and Order Committee of the Methodist Church, having a particular interest in the theology of John Wesley and the Roman Catholic theologian Henri de Lubac.

For leisure, he has an ever-increasing record collection, a love of the outdoors, and is a supporter of Manchester City football club.
