The Equalities Assembly is made up of the Equality Hubs for the protected characteristics and helps ensure Leeds City Council engages with and involves all our diverse communities in an intersectional and joined up way. The annual conference is a platform to meet and work together to let the council know the issues that affect people from different backgrounds. This years programme is will look at some of the key challenges the city is and will be facing and includes an update on work around migration and an opportunity to hear about the recently launched Future Talent Plan and the impact of the cost of living crisis. Everyone is invited and the event will be followed by a lunch and a chance to network.
