date Thursday, 11th July: 4:00pm - 5:00pm

addressONLINE, LS6 3HN

Hosted by Alison Webster, Citizens UK's Mission Theologian in Residence, this series will build on our previous Community of Practice sessions which took place in 2022 and 2023. During 2024 the Churches’ Community of Practice will be exploring the theological take on the General Election.

Amongst other things yet to be determined (in consultation with you!), we will look at strategies for mission and ministry in the context of General Election strategy: voter ID, voter registration, community engagement, and how we can prepare for the election; all through a theological lens. Of course, underlying all these themes will be the agenda of working at all times for social justice.

Registration is for the whole series. There are three sessions confirmed so far, but with the possibility of additional sessions taking place throughout the year:

  • Thursday 11 July, 16:00 - 17:30
  • Thursday 5 September, 16:00 - 17:30

Please register by filling in your details using the form opposite. You will be emailed a Zoom link once registered.

If you have any questions, please email learning@citizensuk.org.
