Wednesday, 18th December: 11:30am - 12:45pm
Held at St. George’s Church on Great George Street, LS1 3BR, this year’s event, beginning at noon, will feature the LS26 Choir, a renowned local choir that will lead the congregation in traditional carols and special Christmas music. The carol service, including an opening prayer, Bible readings, and festive Christmas readings, promises a deeper connection to the season's spirit and will offer a truly celebratory experience for the community, clients, and supporters of the Crypt.
Doors open at 11:30 am for light Christmas refreshments, allowing attendees to gather, meet, and enjoy the festive atmosphere before the service begins. The service will last approximately 45 minutes, making it the perfect lunchtime retreat.
St. George’s Crypt, celebrating 95 years of service, provides essential care for homeless and vulnerable people in Leeds. This special event is open to everyone—whether you’re a long-time supporter of the Crypt or new to the community, come share in the spirit of Christmas, music, and reflection.
Join us for an unforgettable lunchtime of festive music, warm community, and meaningful celebration as we honour the work of St. George’s Crypt and celebrate the joy of Christmas.
Join us in making this a truly joyous Christmas celebration for our community!
