VENUE CHANGE:

Due to circumstances beyond our control we have had to change the venue. The new venue is Mill Hill Chapel in City Square Leeds LS1 5EB.
This famous chapel is just across the road from Leeds City station and is on numerous bus routes - so it is very easy to get to it via public transport. All the other aspects of the event remain the same.

How do we keep Faith and Hope alive in a time of genocide?

How can we bear witness to suffering, imagine a different world and move towards reconciliation in the face of destruction?

These are not abstract theological exercises – they are the urgent, lived questions that the next generation of Palestinian theologians wrestle with in the book ‘The Cross and the Olive Tree’.  Gaza may be out of the news, but the suffering of our brothers and sisters in Christ, alongside all Palestinians continues to get worse, and this event helps us how to formulate a theological and spiritual response to what is happening.   It is an urgent task because the Palestinian Christian community is facing extinction in the land where Jesus was born
