What does our Christian faith have to say about disability?

Join the Leeds Church Institute community for this five-week course to learn all about Disability Theology, the study of God and the experience of Disabled people. You can either attend the closed group which is only for people who identify as Disabled, or the open group which is for Disabled and non-disabled people.

These online teaching sessions have been developed by Disabled Christians in Leeds, and will explore:

Session 1: Tuesday 25th June

  • Intro to disability models and theology

Session 2: Tuesday 2nd July

  • What does the Bible say about disability?

Session 3: Tuesday 9th July

  • Sin, healing and disability

Session 4: Tuesday 16th July

  • How do we understand emotional and neurological difference?

Session 5: Tuesday 23rd July

  • What might a new theology of disability look like - and what does this mean for you?

Each session will last 1 hour, from 7-8pm
